Parents
Parents are not just the providers of Transportation and funding for Youth Ministry – parents are the front line of ministry to youth. No one has greater influence on the faith development of a youth than do their parents.
I value the partnership we have in caring for your teen. My ministry exists in large part to help encourage and support your work in the home.
To help you in your work we want to be sure that our communication in clear and frequent. we have set up several avenues to communicate with you and your teen(s).
- Parent Link Newsletter - a monthly newsletter posted online to offer you ideas, and simple advice you can use in raising your teens.
- The E-Letter Parent Edition – a semi regular email newsletter from my office to help keep you informed on coming events, and share some great ideas and resources that might be helpful to you.
- The E-Letter Student Edition – a semi regular email newsletter from my office to help keep your teen(s) up to date on coming events and to challenge them with resources and links of interest to them.
- The Youth Ministry Website – Well I think you know about this since you are reading this. This is our front line – we work very hard to keep this website current with as much and as current information as we can.
- The Phone Tree – I will activate the Phone Tree from time to time to call the home of our youth to let them know about upcoming events, and deadlines.
- The Board – Located next to the kitchen this bulletin board also feature information about coming events, and most importantly photos from the past. These are designed to help excite you and your teen to the happenings of Cross View Youth Ministry.
- The Sunday Bulletin – Watch for news and information in the Sunday Worship Folder designed to help let you know about coming events.
- The Clarion – Monthly this Cross View Newsletter shares information specific to Youth and their families.
- Facebook – Cross View Youth have a special ”Group” area on Facebook and events are often posted here as well as on our other outlets!
- Twitter – You can follow us on Twitter our username is CVUthGuy. Brief reminders and announcements are found here. (these also are on our website on the right column)
