40 Day Challenge

The challenge: 40 days – 40 readings

The readings selected are designed to take you on a journey through the Bible. This journey covers much ground, from the creation account in Genesis followed by whirlwind account of God’s people in the Old Testament. The journey then continues through the life, ministry death and resurrection of Christ and ends with a new creation as recorded in the Revelation.

Lent is a natural… but any 40 days will do!

The season of Lent is perfect for such a reading plan as there are 40 days between Ash Wednesday and Easter (excluding the Sundays). In reality any 40 days will work for this plan. For this reason we did not date it but simply counted the days. If you find you missed a day, simply pick up with the next reading, there is no need to skip a reading.
